To All Our New Members 2024
Hello, and a warm welcome to MMTC! We really hope that you enjoy using the facilities on offer and are able to join us at some of the events we organise during the year. Both on and off court. You have joined the club at an interesting time as the courts are due to be resurfaced and we will have 4 of the best courts in Leicestershire! The Pandemic has changed tennis slightly but soon group coaching and family sessions will be available, so dont just think you on your own.
So When Can I Play
At present as requested by the LTA we are using a booking system, and for now we suggest that you just play within your family & close friends. The booking system is mainly to prevent people gathering around the clubhouse waiting for courts, Most clubhouses remain closed so remember we don't have toilet facilities until the gym opens again in July. The court charge is £5ph but once your membership kicks in on July 1st the courts will be free of charge to all members, but members will be limited to 3/4 bookings per week.
WHAT CAN I WEAR WHEN I PLAY
Tennis trainers are the best for obvious reasons but you may wear other sports trainers, But we ask you not to wear, shoes,walking boots,flip flops,sliders,high heels,wellies football/Rugby boots etc for safety reasons. Any sports wear is permitted no jeans etc, We also have our own club clothing range. The new 2024 summer range is out now.

Can We Attend The Social Events
When the restrictions have been lifted and we as a club feel safe to do so we will plan in some more social events that you are welcome to attend.
Can I Invite Non-Members To The Club
Unlike other clubs we do not operate a strict policy on Non-Members and we do not charge a guest fee, However we would ask you to consider all other paid members of the club and we feel if you bring a friend that is considering joining they should really know if tennis is the sport for them and if they want to be a part of our fantastic club within 2/3 visits.
